CONSTRUCTION MANAGER REPRESENTATIVE - NATIONAL PARK SERVICES

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Manager Representative to join our team on a National Park Services Project in Charleston, South Carolina.

A summary of the major tasks is listed below.

Construction Period Phase

i. Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting

ii. Construction documentation

iii. Construction Phase scheduling

iii. Progress Meetings leading project team

iv. Assisting in issue resolution.

v. Testing and Inspection Services

vi. Review of contractor progress payment requests

vi. Performing additional construction-related services

vii. Claims Analysis and Resolution Services

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensing: none required

  • Certification: OSHA 30

  • Experience: Minimum of?5 years of experience in both design and construction

  • Prior experience working with National Parks Services or Federal Government Projects

  • Processing change orders, requests for information, submittals, and field observation reports.

  • Managing historic restoration projects

  • Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and master

  • Knowledgeable in site, civil, and marine construction.

  • Requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project.

  • Experience with applicable safety regulations, OSHA

  • Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.

  • Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the project’s success.

  • Experience working with Construction Management software

  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, MS Project and any other software programs typically utilized for construction management services.

  • Experience with estimating software programs (eg. RS Means, PlanSwift, or others)

  • Leadership: Must possess the ability to collaborate and integrate with other professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of?Architecture/Engineering?or?Construction Management?from an accredited school of higher education.

  • CCM, PMP certifications
