COMMISSIONING STAFF - MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager and Commissioning Specialists with an applicable degree to join our team. We're looking for individuals with one or multiple aspects of the commissioning.

Open Positions:

• Project Manager
• Mechanical Engineering Commissioning Specialist
• Electrical Engineering Commissioning Specialist
• Communications/Security Engineering Commissioning Specialist
• Building Envelope Commissioning Specialist

Below are the required qualifications and experiences for each of the positions:

Project Manager

• shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a commissioning project manager and shall have experience in writing commissioning specifications, commissioning plans, functional test procedures, and coordinating commissioning tasks with the construction contractor’s schedule. The Project Manager shall have either a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a bachelor’s degree in architecture or approved equivalents.

Mechanical Engineering Commissioning Specialist

• shall have extensive knowledge of testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems and experience in performing or managing the TAB process.

• shall have extensive knowledge and experience in the operations and troubleshooting of HVAC and complex electrical systems.

Electrical Engineering Commissioning Specialist

• shall have extensive knowledge and experience in the operations and troubleshooting of HVAC and complex electrical systems.

Communications/Security Engineering Commissioning Specialist

• shall have extensive knowledge and experience in open-protocol direct digital control (DDC) systems.

Building Envelope Commissioning Specialist

• shall have extensive experience in testing and commissioning building system envelopes and envelope assemblies.

Knowledge and abilities for all positions include:

• Commissioning Team members shall have knowledge and experience in building operations and maintenance and experience in developing and providing systems-level training for O&M personnel is desired.
• Commissioning Team members shall have experience in developing, implementing, and/or optimizing system control strategy and sequences.
• Familiar with construction practices, materials, standards, and design requirements.
• A minimum experience of commissioning five (5) projects in his or her discipline.
• Bachelor’s degrees in their discipline and certifications from recognized national Commissioning Certification Organizations.
